Simone Biles brought her Gold Over America Tour to Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum on Saturday night.
And Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton welcomed her to the arena he has called home for over a decade with open arms just as the state did last year when her husband, Jonathan Owens, was a member of the Green Bay Packers.
Middleton met Biles backstage where the NBA veteran gifted her his No. 22 jersey and provided her with a sweet message on it.
“To the Goat,” Middleton wrote on the left 2 in his “22” number on the back of his jersey, referencing her “greatest of all time” status. On the right “2” he added “Thanks 4 being an inspiration to all.”
Biles looked very happy after Middleton had given her the jersey. The activity was captured on the Bucks and Fiserv Forum social media feeds.
Biles who remains the most decorated gymnast in the history is on the road with other gymnasts for a show.
The tour is a victory laps of sorts following Biles comeback at the Olympics this summer where she entertained the world while adding more to an already storied career.
She secured four medal in Paris Olympics; 3 gold and 1 silver to bring her tally to 10. Disregarding the existing records she holds the title of the most successful Olympic gymnast of the United States.
The 27-year-old has also turned into a mental health warrior in the recent past, influencing even more individuals apart from gymnastics.
The Gold Over America Tour started September 17 and will include 30 performances up to early November. After this particular tour probably observe Biles more games with Owens of Chicago Bears.
By that point, Biles will have probably switched her Packers-themed Owens jacket she still wore during the preseason in Chicago.
