Report: Tiger Woods Has ‘Eliminated Sex’ While Preparing for 2024 Masters Tournament

Tiger Woods is minimizing distractions ahead of the 2024 Masters.

“He’s focused,” one of his friends told Steve Helling of the New York Post. “He’s working really hard in the gym. He’s eating right. He’s even eliminated sex.

“He currently refrains from engaging in sexual activities while preparing for tournaments.

He is determined to maintain his focus and not allow anything to distract him until the tournament is finished.”

Even though Woods’ friend confirmed that the 48-year-old is not in a relationship, the iconic golfer has faced considerable scrutiny regarding his personal life on multiple occasions over the years.

This was particularly notable in late 2009 when he decided to step away from the sport temporarily due to public allegations of infidelity, resulting in some sponsors ending their partnerships with him.

He and his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, ended their marriage, and Woods confessed to extramarital relationships during a public apology before resuming his career in golf.

While Woods returned to golf and continued one of the greatest careers in the sport’s history, he has not been the same force on the course in recent years.

According to Mark Schlabach of ESPN, he has failed to make the cut or had to withdraw from four out of six tournaments he participated in after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident in February 2021. In one of the two tournaments where he did fininsh, he placed 47th in the 2022 Masters, but he pulled out of the same event the previous year after the third round.

This year, he had to pull out of the Genesis Invitational due to the flu, which was serious enough to necessitate IV treatments.

“Despite everything, people will definitely tune in to watch Woods if he ends up competing in this year’s Masters tournament.”

The 15-time major champion has been very successful at the event, finishing in the top 10 14 times and winning five green jackets in 25 appearances.

Winning at this point in his career is not very probable, but he has created many unforgettable moments on the most renowned stage in the sport.
